I saw that this was airing today, and since I didn't have anything else to watch on Tuesdays, I decided to give it a try. So I decided to read a bit of the manga, to know what I'm getting into. The result? I'm hooked, and I love it. The art style looks interesting, the story is nice. So yeah, let's go and enjoy the show.

Mitsumi is a really nice and entertaining character. Her barefoot running made me laugh hard - it just shows that she is from the countryside. And how she puked on the teacher was just hilarious. Poor girl, she got even named "the barfing girl".

strange guy • 1 year ago

This show is gonna be interesting

Fortune's Feline • 1 year ago

I'm thinking so too, in a good way that soothes your soul and calms the nerves but doesn't bore you to sleep, rather than a "oh nooooo.... Oof! this is unpleasant to watch, but I need to know what's next" kind of way. XD

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I'm predicting this's gonna be one of the best SoL this season.

Fortune's Feline • 1 year ago

I'm with ya! Or at least hoping so as well.

Byno • 1 year ago

Poor girl? I feel bad for that teacher! First day as a homeroom teacher, and already got puked on!

kaeyasupremacy • 1 year ago

on her expensive outfit too lol

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Let's feel bad for both XD

WorldGN18 • 1 year ago

hahaha I felt so bad for the teacher too, specially because is her first time being a homeroom teacher so I'm sure salary is not high enough to afford such an expensive suit so easily T.T

Billy Bob • 11 months ago

yea also her first time! and she already knew their names before they started!

Deus The Great • 1 year ago

This is better than i thought. The visual art kinda turned me off before i watched an episode. Glad i give it a try and it's not disappointed.

Sprayquaza • 1 year ago

The art is deceiving just like mob psycho , check out the manga reviews for this one.

BizzaReOtaku • 11 months ago

it was giving me ranking of king's animation art vibes. its not bad though, and just like RoK its a good anime.

Satoshi Ookami • 1 year ago

Exactly the same here.
But the first episode sold me on it.

kaeyasupremacy • 1 year ago

I did the same thing too lol

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Yeah sorry I was late to the party.

Had work today.

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

I'm late to but I'm always late T_T

Lai Sing Wei • 1 year ago

another girl in another universe has got the name 'the barfing girl' on her first day at school too.

nwn • 1 year ago

Was wondering if it was worth the watch, thanks for the heads up.

Tiberius • 1 year ago

Thanks again Chosen one. I'll give it a try also.

AnimatorME • 1 year ago

kurdbubbles • 1 year ago

Opening is so freaking cute

The Ending as well. ^^

Nan Demo K(Nai)ves • 1 year ago

It's unfortunate Mitsumi is so innocent, she naively believed she got the timing wrong when trying to talk to that girl but she was only interested in talking to her because Shima asked Mitsumi for her contact details.

Lol I felt so bad for the homeroom teacher, that has got to be one of the worst ways to start as a homeroom teacher. I don't even think one shower would be enough to wash away the disgusting feeling from my body lol.

Mitsumi is such an overthinker and seems to be over prepare but I guess that is why she's the top student for the new students. It was amusing how Nao-chan's natural voice came kicking in due to the sight of her. I am worried how her introduction is going to go, it feels like it will be cringe inducing lol.

Byno • 1 year ago

That's a 55k yen suit as well, bloody expensive af. Mitsumi should be glad the teacher didn't ask her to pay for a new suit XD

Helocat • 1 year ago

Ain't 55K Yen like under 500 USD? Now, 500 bucks is a lot for sure on its own but for a suit that's like low end.

Byno • 1 year ago

Also...that's low end? HOW MUCH DO SUITS COST? THEY'RE JUST A BLOODY PIECE OF CLOTHING! HOW DO THEY EXPECT YOU TO GET THE MONEY FOR IT IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB? AND YOU NEED A SUIT FOR JOB HUNTING...

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Try asking a lawyer that when some spends as much as 10K on one suit >_>

Byno • 1 year ago

...I'll spend around 500 for a suit, nothing over that!

Helocat • 1 year ago

Yeah, dude. Even if you get a mass produced suit jacket from a place like Macy's or Men's Warehouse, it will set you back like 200ish bucks. That's mainly the high cost associated with it. If you're buying a new suit altogether and don't have dress shirts or pants with matching shoes, it's like 20 a piece ($60) if you shop at a place like Ross or Marshall's. You also need a belt and tie at $10 each. That's 280 for, possibly, the most frugal suit you can get. If you want an inner vest add another 50 to 100 for a total of 330-380. Will it look good though? Maybe not, so add another 40 to 80 to take it to a tailor. After all, you're probably wearing the suit for a special event or interview, so you got to look as best. That said, guys don't really need the full suit for an interview. Just some nice pants, shirt, and maybe a tie. Your mile may very depending on what industry you work on though.

So, yeah. Even though 500 is a significant amount of cash, it will only get you the most low end of suits.

Byno • 1 year ago

Bloody hell....I'd much rather go to an interview in smart dress, and not a suit, and just risk having a lower chance of getting the job....

iCurvaceous • 1 year ago

Tbh its the style now to just wear the outer jacket of the suit, a dress pants, dress shirt, tie and belt with some decent shoes. My husband doesn't even come close to spending more than $200 per work outfit. Totally not necessary to wear a full suit at all unless you're trying to climb high society. Japanese are very rule adhering though so this must be very important to do to them. They have a very strong sense of wanting to do things the right way.

Helocat • 1 year ago

Makes sense. Like I said it depends on where you work and what industry. Here in CA in the Bay Area, you wouldn't find a suit unless they are lawyers or work in finance. I've seen techies wear nothing but the ubiquitous hoodie and sneakers to interviews and get the job lmao. Don't recommend it unless you're going to pull some Rain Man moves though.

JDC • 1 year ago

corporate suites generally start at 3k up my guy. You dont wanna be caught dead wearing cheap shit to a big negotiation to close a deal with companies that are above 1 billion dollar marketcap.

Byno • 1 year ago

Yeah, but in that case, if you're in that situation, you're already making money to buy the suit. I'm talking if you don't have an income, and are out buying your first suit for a job interview...how the hell do they expect you to get the money for one when you don't have any income?

iCurvaceous • 1 year ago

Actually, people go job hunting for top companies on their first job. Especially japanese, because your college kind of predetermines if you're going to get in or not (prestigious colleges get more recognition, think yale university and harvard). I doubt a lot of them just randomly had the money lol. Must of taking time saving and whatnot. Not to mention their regular school uniforms are mad expensive with seasonal variation since they're all custom made.

Byno • 1 year ago

Idc how much it is converted, but 55k anything is too much

Makaveli Musolini • 1 year ago

That's a cheap ass suit. Have you ever bought a suit? LOL.

Byno • 1 year ago

Nope, never bought a suit. Can you tell? XD

Makaveli Musolini • 1 year ago

Obviously..., lol. :)

Fortune's Feline • 1 year ago

Let's just hope teach had a lot of layers on and a spare bra stashed away at school already. That said, after awhile teachers probably get used to thing like that happening from time to time, you never know what new kids are gonna do or how they will react and this teach seemed mature enough to take it in stride, so I'm betting she's young, but not green. ;)
(My mother was teacher for 35 years, so I have a good idea of how teachers are. XD)

EM • 1 year ago

So wholesome and funny. Everyone is so precious! The animation is really nice too, as are the OP and ED. I especially love the dancing in the OP. I've heard good things about the manga so I was quite excited for this.
P.A. Works are on a roll

poor teacher though, her clothes were really nice

Junnie Mae • 1 year ago

That little duckling and mama duck reference was just cute! Man I'm so going to love this one! Looks so sweet and funny at the same time. Totally wholesome for sure!

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Cute and wholesome.

Certain Insert • 1 year ago

this kind of premise and artstyle reminds me of the 2015 old romance and slice-of-life anime like Ore Monogatari

Loving it as a feel-good show, it takes me back and its interesting

SHIKISM • 1 year ago

I remember seeing chapter 1 of the manga like over a year ago, alot of people said it's quite good

I'm looking forward to this

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Great job P.A. Works.

kaeyasupremacy • 1 year ago

Paradise SLU • 1 year ago

Yes, another good anime thank you.

Billy Bob • 11 months ago
